RENO, Nevada (Thursday, September 19, 2024)- No. 2 Salt Lake Men's Soccer overpowered Truckee Meadows Community College for a 2-0 victory. 

Freshman Ali Merghemi broke open the scoring with a first half goal assisted by sophomore Robert Franke. Late in the second half Merghemi set up Diego Ossa for the games second goal. 

Salt Lake had possession of the ball for the majority of the game which helped goalkeeper Erick Jaspers record the clean sheet.

Ossa leads the Bruins with four goals on the year. Merghemi is one of three Bruins with three goals on the season.
