TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Thursday, September 12, 2024)- No. 5 Salt Lake Volleyball (9-5) lost in straight sets to No. 3 New Mexico Military Institute (11-2) in both team's first match of the UFirst Intermountain Invite. 

Fuka Kikuchi was a bright spot for the Bruins recording 12 kills in the loss. 

The Bruins have played one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the country as three of the Bruins five losses have been to the top three teams in the nation.

The Bruins will play Weatherford College at noon on Friday, September 13. Salt Lake finishes up the UFirst Intermountain Invite Saturday, September 14. Salt Lakes last match is versus Trinity Valley Community College at noon.
