No-hitter earns Mikayla Jankovic SWAC Pitcher of the Week honor

Australian strikes out seven in no-hit performance

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Tuesday, April 9, 2024)— Salt Lake pitcher Mikayla Jankovic has been named Scenic West Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week after tossing the team's third no-hitter of the season in a 32-0 pasting of Colorado Northwestern.

The freshman struck out seven and ended the day one walk short of throwing a perfect game.

For the season, the Adelaide, Australia native is 6-1 with three complete games and strikes out 8.92 batters per seven innings. Jankovic has a 3.53 ERA with 48 strikeouts against just 14 walks.
