TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Saturday, April 20, 2024)— Sixth-ranked Salt Lake completed a four-game sweep over USU Eastern, winning each game going away.
The Bruins are now 36-7 overall and 28-4 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play. SLCC is 14-3 in road games.
Game Three
SLCC 11 | USU E 3
All 11 Salt Lake runs came in the first three innings as the Bruins jumped out to a commanding lead without looking back.
Tiffany Hermansen went the distance in the circle, striking out five while allowing three earned runs in five innings.
Lexi Shaver and Bailey Marvin each hit three-run homers for the Bruins.
Miranda Mansfield went 3-3 out of the two-hole, driving in a run and scoring thrice.
Game Four
SLCC 7 | USU E 0
Shelbee Jones and McKenna Cahoon combined to give up just three hits while striking out 11 in the second shutout of the weekend.
Shaver drove in three while Mansfield went 2-4 and scored three more runs.

The Bruins travel to Ephraim, Utah, to play four games against the Snow Badgers. The first pitch is at 1 p.m. MT on Friday, April 26.
