TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Friday, March 21, 2024)— Salt Lake finished the third sweep in four Scenic West Athletic Conference series', shutting down the Snow College Badgers in a four-game series.
The No. 12 Bruins improved to 22-5 overall and 12-2 in SWAC play.
Game Three
SLCC 9 | Snow 1
Mikayla Jankovic became the third Bruin in two days to throw a complete game. Jankovic surrendered four hits and a lone run in the five-inning, run-rule-shortened game.
Lexie Shaver knocked in three runs, hitting her ninth home run of the season in a 2-4 day at the plate.
Miranda Mansfield reached base three times with two singles.
Game Four
SLCC 11 | Snow 3
The twelfth-ranked Bruins turned a nail-biter into a blowout with a six-run sixth inning to finish a four-game SWAC sweep over the Badgers.
Reigning Player of the Week Bailey Marvin continued a torrid stretch at the plate with a home run, increasing the team lead to 14. Mansfield went 3-4, scoring three runs and driving in two more.
Nakiya Seeley was credited with the win. She allowed four hits and two earned runs in 4.1 innings. McKenna Cahoon got the final five outs for the save.

No. 12 SLCC will travel to Henderson, Nevada, for four games against the Southern Nevada Coyotes beginning on Friday, March 29. First pitch is scheduled for noon MT.
