TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Thursday, March 21, 2024)—Salt Lake never trailed as their winning streak increased to eight games with five-inning blowout wins over the Community Christian College Saints.
Game One
SLCC 14 | CCC 3
Garrison Sumner got the win, giving up one hit and walking two in three innings.
Trey Gambill went 3-4 at the plate, driving in four runs and scoring three. Gage Easton, Kaden Hodson, and Ty Johnsen all hit homers for the Bruins.
Salt Lake scored nine runs in the third inning to break the game wide open.
Game Two
SLCC 13 | CCC 0
Shay Timmer threw three strong innings, getting the win after the Bruins exploded for the second nine-running inning of the afternoon.
Timmer gave up one hit and struck out four Saint batters.
Jake Olsen was 2-2 with a home run, scoring three runs and picking up two RBI.

No. 12 Salt Lake hosts 14 straight games at the new and improved Cate Field, beginning with four games against Community Christian College. First pitch on Friday, March 22 is at 2 p.m. MT. SLCC then welcomes Treasure Valley Community College for a DH on Saturday, March 23.
