TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Thursday, February 29, 2024) – No. 20 Salt Lake bounced back from its first conference loss of the year by blowing out the Snow College Badgers 84-53 to end the regular season.
The Bruins improved to 22-5 and wrapped up Scenic West Athletic Conference play with a 9-1 mark.
Heaven Samayoa-Mathis scored 17 points and added nine rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and two assists in a beautiful all-around performance after being limited by foul trouble in the loss at CSN.
Karina Grayer matched Samayoa with 17 points, while Mia Tarver added 15, and Ana Oliviera Dias chipped in 14 points.
Dias and Tarver each had four of the Bruins' 16 steals.
After clinching the SWAC regular season crown, Salt Lake hosts the Region 18 tournament at Bruin Arena March 15-16.
