TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Saturday, February 24, 2024) – No. 7 Salt Lake clinched a share of the Scenic West Athletic Conference regular season title with a 102-74 win over Southern Nevada.

The Bruins (26-3, 11-2) have now won nine straight games.

CJ Luster and Xavier Edmonds scored 17 points to lead five SLCC players in double figures. Zaon Collins added 14 points, nine rebounds, and six assists in 27 minutes. Preston Squire and Jordan Battle each scored a dozen. 

The Bruins finished with eight steals and seven blocks as a team.

No. 7 Salt Lake wraps up its regular season schedule when it hosts Snow College at Bruin Arena on Thursday, February 29. A win would clinch the SWAC regular season championship for Salt Lake and allow the Bruins to host the Region 18 Tournament at Bruin Arena March 8-9.
