TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (November 9, 2023) – Salt Lake opened the Arizona Tournament with a decisive 75-53 win over Trinidad State College.

The Bruins played the first of three games in the Arizona Tournament on Thursday, November 9.

One of four Bruins to reach double-figure points, freshman guard Ana Oliviera Dias led all scorers with 16 points. Oliviera Dias also finished with four rebounds, three assists, and four steals. 

Heaven Samayoa-Mathis added 12 points. Jeanne Rodriguez scored a season-high 13 points off the bench and Mia Tarver chipped in 10. 

Salt Lake continues play in the Arizona Tournament when they face No. 20 Eastern Arizona Gila Monsters on Friday, November 10. Tip-off is scheduled for 9 p.m. (MT)
