TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Saturday, November 11, 2023) – CJ Luster's 20 points led five Bruins in double figures as Salt Lake remained undefeated with a 101-73 win over Northeastern JC.

SLCC improved to 5-0 and topped the century mark for the third time already this season. The Bruins reached the 100-point plateau 12 times last year.

Jordan Battle scored 17 and finished with four assists. Bryce Zephir (13), Mason Bendinger (13), and Preston Squire (10) each contributed while coming off of the bench. 

The Bruins finished with seven blocks and five steals as a team. SLCC held Northeastern JC to 38 percent shooting from the field. It marks the third time in five games Salt Lake has held its opponent to under 40 percent shooting. 

The Bruins head to Florida to participate in the Florida Tournament against Eastern Florida State College and No. 8 Florida Southwestern State College on November 16-17. Salt Lake tips off against Eastern Florida at 3 p.m. (MT) on Thursday, November 16.
