TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (January 21, 2023) – The Salt Lake Community College Women's Basketball team posted a dominant performance Saturday.
 
Hosting Community Christian, SLCC posted a 76-29 win over Community Christian College, moving to 3-0 against the Lady Crusaders. The victory lifts Salt Lake to 16-5 overall and 6-4 in Scenic West play.
 
SLCC was strong out of the gate, posting a 20-7 lead after the first quarter. The Bruins then outscored CCC, 39-8, in the second half. Salt Lake's defense limited Community Christian to just 18 percent shooting in the game, with the Bruins forcing 22 turnovers.
 
Brooke Donnelly led SLCC with 19 points, while Aminata Diakite scored 14 points. Zaliah Adams finished with 12 points and Karina Grayer had 10 points. 
 
Salt Lake will travel to Colorado Northwestern on Wednesday, then will host No. 7 Southern Idaho on Saturday. Saturday's game against CSI will tip off at 1:00 p.m.
