TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (January 21, 2023) – The No. 2 Salt Lake Community College Men's Basketball team posted a dominant home win in Scenic West Athletic Conference play on Saturday.
 
SLCC earned a 149-58 win over Community Christian on Saturday, moving to 3-0 over the Crusaders this season. The Bruins are now 21-1 overall and 10-1 in Scenic West play.
 
Salt Lake was crisp throughout the game, shooting 69 percent in the win and committing just 5 turnovers. SLCC's 91-point margin of victory was a school record.
 
Alejandro Vasquez led the Bruins with 30 points, while Andre Mulibea had 25 points. Tyson Garff finished with 24 points, Jared Garcia posted 23 points, and Jalen Waver scored 22 points. Jaxon Pollard had 14 points and Hunter Erickson finished with 11 points. 
 
Salt Lake will play a split week next week, traveling to play at Colorado Northwestern on Wednesday. The Bruins will host No. 2 Southern Idaho on Saturday inside the Lifetime Activities Center, looking to enact revenge for a narrow loss in December.
