TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (February 15, 2022) – A clutch performance in a critical game lifted the No. 1 Salt Lake Community College Men's Basketball team to another in-state win to stay unbeaten last Saturday.
 
In recognition of strong play in that 99-94 win over No. 15 Snow, SLCC's Jordan Brinson earned weekly honors from the Scenic West Athletic Conference Monday. Brinson is SLCC's second-leading overall scorer, averaging 13.7 points a game for the Bruins.
 
A native of Inglewood, Calif., Brinson scored 25 points in the win over Snow, also posting 6 assists with no turnovers. He averaged 23 points in two games during the week, going a combined 16-of-22 from the field and a perfect 11-of-11 from the free-throw line.
 
Salt Lake will travel this week to play at Southern Idaho Wednesday, then will host Colorado Northwestern on Saturday to end the season.
