TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (January 27, 2022) -Â Â A three-game week can be a challenge for any college program to manage.

The No. 22 Salt Lake Community College Women's Basketball team dropped the first course Monday in a matchup with nationally-ranked Southern Idaho, then lost their second contest of the week on Thursday at home against Southern Nevada. SLCC dropped a 78-68 game to fall to 14-5 overall and 6-3 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.

In a game that went back-and-forth, CSN jumped out to an early lead and led at halftime, 39-36. Both teams traded blows throughout the second half, with both teams combining for five lead changes and neither team leading by more than 10 points. SLCC shot just 39.1 percent from the field, going just 7-of-16 from the free-throw line.

Hennessey Luu-Brown and
Ashton Adamson both led the Bruins with 15 points, while
Diarrah Sissoko had 9 points.
Allyzee Verdan finished with 6 points.Â

Salt Lake will play Southern Idaho for the second time this week Saturday, hosting the No. 5 Lady Golden Eagles at 1:00 p.m. The game will be played at the Lifetime Activities Center.
