Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (January 29, 2022) – The No. 22 Salt Lake Community College Women's Basketball team lost in a battle of nationally-ranked Scenic West teams Saturday.
 
SLCC dropped a 52-49 game to No. 5 Southern Idaho, falling to 0-3 on the week. The Bruins are now 14-6 overall and 6-4 in Scenic West games after the loss.
 
In a game that went back-and-forth, it was one critical statistic that ultimately cost SLCC in a game where neither team led by more than 12 points – free throws. The Bruins were just 1-of-13 from the free throw line, while also shooting just 39.2 percent from the field. Salt Lake also committed 19 turnovers.
 
Hennessey Luu-Brown led the Bruins with 13 points, while Ashton Adamson finished with 11 points. Diarrah Sissoko also posted 7 points. 
 
Salt Lake will host Community Christian on Monday. The game is scheduled for a 5:00 p.m. start.
