TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (March 6, 2021) – Momentum is firmly behind the No. 13 Salt Lake Community College men's basketball team once again, especially after SLCC earned a strong road win Saturday.
Playing for the first time at the College of Southern Nevada, the Bruins earned an 84-68 win over the Coyotes, moving to 2-0 on the season against CSN. The victory boosts SLCC to 14-2 overall and 7-2 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
In a game that was close at halftime, with SLCC holding just a 29-26 lead, the Bruins pulled away in the second half, outscoring the Coyotes by 13 points and shooting 64.3 percent (18-of-28) from the field.
Marvin Price led Salt Lake with 19 points, while
Max Watson scored 11 points.
Jackson Last posted 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting, and
Samuel Keita scored 10 points.
Salt Lake will host in-state rival Snow College inside the Lifetime Activities Center on Thursday.
