TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (March 12, 2021) - The No. 11 Salt Lake Community College men's basketball program lost a Scenic West Athletic Conference home game to a longtime in-state foe Thursday.
The Bruins fell 90-76 to Snow College, who turned a halftime advantage into a second-half double-digit score differential. SLCC falls to 14-3 overall with the loss, also dropping to 7-3 in Scenic West play.
Salt Lake narrowly trailed at halftime, trailing 33-31, before the Badgers took off in the second half with a 53 percent shooting performance (23-of-43) that helped them outscore the Bruins 57-45 in the period. SLCC turned the ball over 22 times to Snow in the loss.
Quincy McGriff led Salt Lake with 20 points, while
Felix Lemetti scored 15 points.
Marvin Price also scored 10 points for the Bruins.
Salt Lake will host the College of Southern Nevada for a Scenic West game on Saturday.
