Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (February 17, 2021) - The Salt Lake Community College volleyball team earned a strong victory to open Scenic West Athletic Conference play on Tuesday.

The Bruins earned a 3-0 win over longtime rival College of Southern Idaho, downing the Golden Eagles by set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-23. The wins boost SLCC's overall record to 6-4 overall and 1-0 in Scenic West play.

Kenadee Christensen finished with a team-high 10 kills, hitting .400, while Sammi Johnston hit 13 kills. As a team, Salt Lake hit .270 and finished with 48 kills and 11 blocks.

Salt Lake will play in a non-conference match with Western Wyoming on Saturday.
