TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (December 11, 2021) – No matter the location, no matter the game, the No. 1 Salt Lake Community College Men's Basketball team continues to set new standards of achievement in the 2021-22 season.

SLCC moved to 3-0 in Scenic West Athletic Conference games Saturday, earning a 169-93 win over Community Christian College. The victory moves Salt Lake to 12-0 overall. The point total is a new program high for the Bruins.

Salt Lake coach Kyle Taylor said his team was focused on offense from the beginning.

"We had 11 players in double figures, so I'm proud of the way we played," he said. "We set a goal of 25 assists and had 27 so that was great to see us share the ball. Our defense wasn't good, but I do think it's hard in a game like that.

"Happy to see our guys play good offense and get the win. They is the main thing to focus on."

Salt Lake led 77-36 at halftime, shooting 65.3 percent from the field in the game (62-95). Quincy McGriff and Chase Adams both scored 21 points, while Festus Ndumanya, Jaquan Scott and Doctor Bradley both had 16 points. Jackson Last scored 17 points. Every SLCC player who took part in the game scored.

Salt Lake will play another home-and-away Scenic West schedule next week, hosting Colorado Northwestern on Thursday and playing at in-state rival Snow College Saturday.
