Jeremy Berg enters his fifth season as pitching coach for the Bruins. His first stint was from 2015-2017, prior to returning in 2022.
In his first year back, he helped the team win a conference title and Region 18 title. Along the way, the pitching staff finished first in the nation in ERA, that also included three players in the top-five for the individual leaderboard.
Prior to his return to coaching at SLCC, Berg was head coach at Lone Peak HS in Highland, Utah, for four years. He led the team to a 6A runner-up finish in 2019, while being voted 6A coach of the year by the UHSBCA.
Berg’s playing career included playing six years professionally in the Angels and Cardinals organizations, making it to AAA for four of those years with the Salt Lake Bees. He graduated from High Point University in North Carolina.
A native of Ventura, Calif., his family includes wife Michelle and two boys, Britton and Baylor. He currently resides In Riverton, Utah.
