Ephraim, Utah- No. 19 SLCC Softball (30-10) completed the season sweep against Snow College (13-30).
Salt Lake started the day with a 9-0 win in six innings. LHP Paige Fennell pitched six scoreless innings for the Bruins and struck out 11 batters. CF Lahela Painter went 3-4 and scored two runs. C Savannah Palmatier, 3B Irma Medina, and 2B Olivia Harker all had two hits. Medina, Harker, and RF Jettlee Ioane all drove in two runs.
The Bruins defeated the Badgers 4-0 in the final game of the series. LHP Brecka Larson (12-1) pitched another gem, posting a complete game four-hitter with 9 strikeouts. Salt Lake scored three runs in the fifth inning as Medina hit an RBI double and Ioane drove in two with a single. C Lafiana Fifita hit a sac-fly in the top of the seventh for the final run of the game. The Bruin batters had only three hits in the game and nine walks.
