Price, Utah- No. 20 Salt Lake Baseball (20-9) lost the series finale 8-6 against USU-Eastern (21-19) as the four game series resulted in a split.
Salt Lake committed six errors which led to three unearned runs. The Bruins trailed the Eagles 8-4 after six innings. Salt Lake scored two unearned runs in the top of the ninth, but couldn't complete the rally. DH AJ Thomas went 2-3 with a two-run home run and walked with the bases loaded. Salt Lake had 12 hits compared to USU-Eastern's six hits, but the Bru Cru struggled defensively.
