Price, UTAH- SLCC Women's Basketball (20-9) won 52-45 versus USU-Eastern (19-9). The Bruins are now (9-5) in SWAC play.
Salt Lake outscored USU-Eastern in the first three quarters and held their largest lead (45-31) with 7:41 to go in the fourth.
Tahys Da Silva and Ines Babaya combined for 26 points to lead the Bruins. Da Silva was responsible for all of Salt Lake's made three-pointers as she went 4-6 from deep. Lyla Kahrimanovic had 4 of the Bruin's 7 assists.
Both teams had a cold shooting day as SLCC shot 17-50 (34%) and USU-E went 15-54 (27.8%) from the floor. The Bruins won the turnover margin and took care of the ball well. Salt Lake committed only 7 turnovers while USU-Eastern finished the game with 17. Skylie Barker was the only Eagle in double-figures as she led her team with 12 points.
