Salt Lake WBB Denied by CSI's Huge First-Half

Salt Lake, Utah- No. 23 SLCC Women's Basketball (19-8) lost 67-39 to No. 10 CSI (24-3). The Bruins are now (8-4) in SWAC play. 

Salt Lake led 7-3 early on, but CSI quickly turned things around and led 19-9 at the end of the first quarter. The Golden Eagles dominated the second quarter as well and led 44-16 at the end of the first half. Savannah Stoker scored 18 of her 30 points in the first half to lead CSI. 

Lyla Kahrimanovic had a team-high 14 points for Salt Lake. The Bruins struggled from the floor as they shot 14-56 (25%) from the floor and 2-16 (12.5%) from three-point land.
