Salt Lake, Utah- Salt Lake Men's Basketball (10-15) lost 80-90 to North Idaho (14-12).
The Cardinals stayed tough and closed out the Bruins to win the season series. NIC led by 12 at the half and made their free-throws down the stretch in a game that had 52 fouls called. 66 free-throws were shot in the game. Both teams were solid at the line as SLCC went 32-39 from the stripe and NIC went 23-27 on free-throws.
Daye Kaba led Salt Lake with 21 points going 7-13 from the field. Nick Jefferson added 18 points and 6 assists. Danny Young Jr. went 11-13 at the line and finished with 14 points. Jaxon Heiden recorded 8 points and 8 rebounds.
Ne'quan Brown had a game-high 31 points and made seven three-pointers to lead North Idaho.
