Twin Falls, IDAHO- Salt Lake Men's Basketball (9-12) lost 91-72 to No. 5 ranked CSI (21-1).
The Bruins fell behind midway through the first half and the Golden Eagles continued their dominant start in SWAC play (7-0) with another victory.
Salt Lake shot 40.7% on field goals and went 11-30 from deep. CSI couldn't miss as they went 33-65 (50.8%) from the field and 8-16 on three-pointers. The Golden Eagles had four players in double-figures. Cooper Kesler dropped a game-high 19 points off the bench to lead CSI.
Danny Young Jr. led the Bruins with 16 points. Jaxon Heiden recorded 12 points and 9 rebounds for Salt Lake. Nick Clark and Duncan Reid both chipped in 9 points for the Bruins.
The Bruins struggled to get stops and committed 19 turnovers.
