Salt Lake City, UTAH- The No. 6 ranked Bruins (14-3) beat Snow College (6-10) in five sets as they closed out a wild match to open conference play.
The Bruins scored the first six points of the match and won the first set 25-17. Snow bounced back winning the second set 21-25. Both teams had more than one set point in an insane third set, but Snow College pulled away winning set three 29-31. The Bruins answered back, winning the fourth set 25-19. Salt Lake controlled the fifth set and won 15-13 to close out the match.
Cameron Zajer led Salt Lake with 12 kills and five service aces. Paige Balliff added eleven kills and Shaylee Dahle recorded ten kills for Salt Lake. Myka Christensen and Avrie Valgardson had 28 and 18 assists respectively.
Aleah McDaniel led Snow with a match high 16 kills in the loss.
