TAYLORSVILLE, Utah - (Thursday, February 20, 2025)- Salt Lake Women's basketball (18-8, 7-5) lost in overtime to USU-Eastern 65-60.
With four seconds to go in regulation Laura Di Stefano made a free throw and the Bruins led the Eagles 53-51. The Eagles answered with a layup that beat the buzzer and forced overtime.
USU-Eastern controlled the overtime period and made their free-throws down the stretch.
Di Stefano had a career-high for Salt Lake with 22 points. Simran Williams and Tahys Da Silva had 16 and 12 points respectively.
