TAYLORSVILLE, Utah - The Salt Lake Community College men's and women's basketball teams are both gearing up for an exciting matchup in Bruin Arena against in-state rival USU-Eastern on Thursday, February 20th.
The women tip-off at 5:00 p.m. and the men tip-off at 7:00 p.m.
The Bruin Women are 2-0 against the Eagles. Salt Lake beat USU-Eastern 51-40 in January and 63-49 earlier this month. The SLCC women are (6-1) at home this year.
The Salt Lake men are also 2-0 against USU-Eastern. Inn the first week of conference play the Bruins beat the Eagles in a thrilling game, winning 75-72. On February 6th the men beat USU-Eastern 86-76 after trailing by two at the half.
Fans can expect a fun atmosphere and a bigger crowd as both teams look to make statements in the Region 18 standings.
