TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Tuesday, March 4, 2024) – Freshman pitcher Nakiya Seeley tossed a no-hitter against the Colorado Northwestern Spartans to earn Scenic West Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week February 26- March 3.

Seeley finished one hit-by-pitch shy of a perfect game, leading the No. 12 Bruins to a four-game sweep over CNCC. The Lake Elsinore, California native struck out eight Spartans over five innings in an 18-0 SLCC victory.  

The 5'4 pitcher has appeared in four games this season, maintaining a 1.17 ERA and 0.92 WHIP across 12 innings of work.

Seeley is the second Salt Lake player to earn Pitcher of the Week this season, following in the footsteps of fellow freshman Shelbee Jones.
