CHEYENNE, Wyoming (Monday, December 2, 2024)— No. 7 Salt Lake men's basketball won its seventh straight game with a 95-89 victory over Laramie County Community College.
Sophomore forward Xavier Edwards poured in 32 points on 12-of-18 shooting before fouling out late. Mason Bendinger continued his efficient season with 25 points on 11-of-18 from the field.
Ethan Copeland hit two threes on his way to 22 points for a top-heavy Bruins offense.
Davion Butler scored 26 points to lead Laramie County in the loss. Phoenix Bullock added 24 points.
Salt Lake's defense held the Golden Eagles to 42.3 percent shooting and 36.4 percent from deep.
