RIVERTON, Wyoming (Saturday, November 9, 2024)— No. 7 Salt Lake men's basketball picked up its second win of the season on Friday, beating Central Wyoming College 73-45.
Ethan Copeland led a balanced SLCC attack, scoring 19 points, including hitting three threes, in just 23 minutes. Mason Bendinger dropped 17 points on an efficient 7-of-9 from the field. Chude Anosike rounded out the Bruins' double-digit scorers with 12 points in 15 minutes.
Luke Smellie and Alvin Jackson III added six points each. Xavier Edmonds had an excellent all-around game, contributing five points, eight rebounds, and six assists in the blowout win. Coen Collier grabbed ten boards for Salt Lake.
The Bruins' defense did not allow a double-figure scorer for Central Wyoming.
