TAYLORSVILLE, Utah- No. 22 Salt Lake Women's Basketball had their first two home games of the season as they hosted three other teams for a Thanksgiving break tournament.
The Bruins beat Dawson Community College 80-51 on Friday, November 29. Sophomore Laura Di Stefano led the way with 18 points and nine rebounds. Di Stefano had 13 points in the opening quarter.
Freshman Simran Williams had eleven points and sophomore Jeanne Rodriguez added ten points for Salt Lake. Sophomore Blanche Toualeu had nine points and eight rebounds for the Bruins.
Salt Lake finished the weekend defeating Western Nebraska 60-45. Laura Di Stefano led the Bruins once again with 15 points. Guards Simran Williams and Ahnica Russell-Brown had 13 and 10 points respectively for Salt Lake.
With two victories this week the Bruins improved to (8-2).

Salt Lake will play at home on Thursday, December 5 against Central Wyoming College. Tip off is at 5:00 p.m.
