The Bruins get four goals from four different players in their semifinal victory

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Thursday, October 31, 2024)- No. 6 Salt Lake Women's Soccer (15-2, 12-2) scored two goals in each half, leading to a 4-1 victory over Colorado Northwestern Community College in the Region 18 semifinal.

Freshman Sophie Eckery got the scoring going with an amazing shot from outside the box. Sophomore Kenadee Thomas doubled the Bruins lead with a goal midway through the first half.

CNCC answered off a brilliant strike from Ashlee Harris and the Spartans trailed the Bruins 2-1 at halftime.

Sophomore Mao Ito scored early into the second half off an assist from her high school and now Bruin teammate Reika Yuba. Sophomore Cortnee Johnson's free kick found the back of the net for the Bruins fourth goal.
