TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Thursday, October 31, 2024)- Newly No. 1 ranked Salt Lake Men's Soccer (16-0-1, 13–0-1) handled USU-Eastern in the Region 18 semi-finals winning 4-0.
Sophomore Larry Noel drilled in a PK in the eighth minute for the Bruins first goal. Sophomore Bony Ulrich scored in the 43rd minute off a pass from freshman Josh Garcia.
Freshman Ali Merghemi and sophomore Jorge De La Vibora Bonilla both scored in the second half for the Bruins. Noel and freshman Diego Ossa recorded the assists.
Goalkeeper Ben Maw made four saves and picked up the clean sheet for Salt Lake.
