TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (September 23, 2023) – The opening weekend of Scenic West Athletic Conference play couldn't have gone any better for the No. 7 Salt Lake Community College volleyball team.

SLCC posted its second sweep in as many matches, earning a 3-0 win over Snow College by set scores of 25-16, 25-13, 25-14. The Bruins are now 14-5 overall and 2-0 in Scenic West play.

Salt Lake hit .388 as a team, posting an efficient 36 assists. The Bruins also owned the service game in a similar manner as it did Friday against Southern Nevada, posting 11 aces.

Fuka Kikuchi led the Bruins with 10 kills, while Tessa Treanor had 8 kills. Tessa Treanor finished with four aces.

Salt Lake will host Southern Idaho on Wednesday.
