TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (September 21, 2023) – The No. 6 Salt Lake Community College women's soccer team extended its winning streak to four matches Thursday, posting a Scenic West Athletic Conference win.
SLCC earned a 2-0 win over Colorado Northwestern, also notching its fourth consecutive shutout win. The Bruins are now 6-1 overall and 4-1 in Scenic West play.
Sadie Santiago scored a goal in the 17th minute to give SLCC a 1-0 lead, scoring off an Anna Pinegar assist. Caitlyn Perry then notched a late goal in the 88th minute, scoring off Mao Ito.
Aliya Garrett made a pair of saves in the Salt Lake win.
The Bruins will host Scenic West leader USU Eastern on Saturday.Â
