Instead, the Bruins placed one of their top offensive performances of the season, earning a 101-68 win over USU Eastern. The victory lifts Salt Lake to 27-4 on the season, along with lifting the Bruins into the Region 18 title game for the fourth consecutive season.

Salt Lake never left any doubt in the win, leading 54-29 at halftime after shooting a sizzing 73.1 percent from the field (19-of-26). SLCC's defense was also red hot throughout the game, with the Bruins limiting USU Eastern to just 39.1 percent shooting and only 7-of-25 from three-point range.Â

Jaxon Pollard and
Dwayne Koroma led the Bruins with 16 points each, while
Jalen Weaver had 15 points.
Alejandro Vasquez posted 14 points and
Andre Mulibea finished with 12 points.Â

The Bruins will advance to face another in-state rival, Snow College, in the tournament final. SLCC went 2-1 against the Badgers during the regular season. Snow upset previously unbeaten Southern Idaho in the other semifinal, downing the Golden Eagles, 84-75.Â

SLCC is looking to win its third Region 18 title in four years, along with successfully defending its 2022 title.
