Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (February 16, 2023) – A spirited offensive performance lifted the No. 7 Salt Lake Community College Men's Basketball team to a dominant win Thursday.
 
Hosting Southern Nevada, the Bruins raced to a 47-37 halftime lead, eventually earning a 98-87 win over the visiting Coyotes. Salt Lake is now 25-3 overall and 13-3 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play, sweeping through CSN on the season.
 
SLCC took an early lead and never looked back, shooting 54.3 percent from the field. The Salt Lake defense was equally as opportunistic, playing a part in CSN having 20 turnovers that resulted in 25 Salt Lake points. The Bruins also held an advantage of 44-34 in points-in-the-paint, leading by as many as 20 points late in the second half.
 
Andre Mulibea finished with 27 points to lead the Bruins, while Alejandro Vasquez posted 23 points. Dwyane Koroma scored 16 points and Tyson Garff scored 10 points. 
 
The Bruins will honor their sophomores on Saturday, hosting in-state rival USU Eastern at 3:00 p.m.
