TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (October 14, 2023) - The calendar keeps progressing, yet the No. 3 Salt Lake Community College volleyball team remains undefeated in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
 
SLCC posted a 3-0 win at Southern Nevada Saturday, winning by set scores of 25-19, 25-8, 25-16. The victory lifts the Bruins to 19-5 overall and 7-0 in Scenic West Athletic Conference matches.
 
Salt Lake posted a sharp .265 hitting percentage, working through the three sets with just ten hitting errors. Tessa Treanor led the Bruins with eight kills, while Fuka Kikuchi had seven kills. Brinlie Crosbie finished with 17 assists. SLCC also had 19 service aces.
 
A titanic matchup waits ahead for the Bruins next week, with SLCC traveling for a Wednesday matchup with Southern Idaho. A SLCC victory in the match would give the Bruins at least a share of the Scenic West regular season title.
