Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (January 28, 2023) – Saturday's game between the Salt Lake Community College Women's Basketball and No. 4 Southern Idaho had the make of a preseason preview.
 
Salt Lake has been the only team to down the Lady Golden Eagles in Scenic West play, setting up an important matchup between the two teams. Unfortunately, CSI posted a 77-58 win over Salt Lake, dropping the Bruins to 7-5 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play. SLCC is now 17-6 overall.
 
CSI jumped out to an strong lead, taking a 21-12 advantage after the first quarter. Salt Lake had struggles with Southern Idaho's defense throughout the night, committing 28 turnovers. Snow scored 33 points off SLCC turnovers.
 
Aminata Diakite led the Bruins with 31 points, while Finau Tonga had 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting. SLCC's other scorers posted a combined 17 points. 
 
The Bruins will host Southern Nevada on Wednesday.
