No. 3 SLCC Men’s Basketball downs Eastern Wyoming in Saturday play

Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (November 19, 2022) - The No. 3 Salt Lake Community College Men's Basketball team couldn't have closed the weekend any better, earning a dominating win at home.
 
SLCC closed a home tournament with a 122-65 win over Eastern Wyoming, going 2-0 in a tournament hosted inside the Lifetime Activities Center. The Bruins are now 6-0 overall.
 
Salt Lake dominated from the opening tip, holding a 55-26 halftime lead. SLCC's control of the game dripped throughout the game's statistics, whether it be points-off-turnovers (a 39-8 SLCC advantage), points-in-the-paint (74-30 SLCC advantage), or bench points (44-30 Bruins advantage). Salt Lake shot 58.8 percent from the field in the game, shooting 73 percent in the second half.
 
Andre Mulibea led the Bruins with 21 points, while Alejandro Vasquez scored 18 points. Dwayne Koroma posted 17 points and Tyson Garff had 16 points. 
 
Salt Lake will now take a break for the Thanksgiving holiday, resuming play on December 2 against Northwest College.
