TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (November 18, 2022) – The No. 3 Salt Lake Community College Volleyball team dealt with the adversity of falling into the consolation bracket of the NJCAA Division-I Volleyball Championships well.

SLCC earned a strong win in the consolation bracket Friday, posting a 3-0 win over Trinity Valley Community College, winning by set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-14. The Bruins are now 29-4 overall.

Salt Lake hit a crisp .342 in the match, finishing with just 12 errors in the match.
Charity Wilson posted 17 kills to lead the Bruins, while
Sandora Sasaki had 15 kills.
Laura Fiabane contributed 42 assists in the win.Â

Salt Lake will continue play in the consolation finals on Saturday, playing in the 5
th-place match against Western Nebraska Community College.Â
