TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (October 1, 2022) – The No. 2 Salt Lake Community College Men's Soccer team posted one of its most impressive victories of the 2022 season Saturday.
SLCC rolled to a 8-0 win over Colorado Northwestern, never trailing in the dominant win. The Bruins are now 8-0 overall and 6-0 in Scenic West Athletic Conference matches.
Zion Wagoner helped SLCC get on the board, posting a goal in the 14
th minute.
Ty Sanchez posted a goal in the 15
th minute, then
Jimiyu Mark and
Gabriel Miranda both added goals in the following minutes. Leading 4-0,
Blake Bastian scored in the 32
nd minute to give Salt Lake a 5-0 halftime lead.
Samson Ahisu opened SLCC's scoring in the 61
st minute, then
Francisco Tita added goals in the 70
th and 72
nd minute. The Bruins held a 36-1 advantage in total shots in the match.
Salt Lake will continue Scenic West play next weekend, playing a pair of weekend matches at Community Christian College.
