TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (September 30, 2021) – The No. 6 Salt Lake Community College Volleyball program opened up a weekend Scenic West Athletic Conference road trip in style Thursday.

SLCC earned a 3-0 win over Colorado Northwestern Community College, winning with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-18. The victory lifts the Bruins to 16-3 overall, with a mark of 2-0 in Scenic West Athletic Conference.

Salt Lake was the clear aggressor throughout the contest, finishing with 45 kills and limiting CNCC to a hitting percentage of just .053. Colorado Northwestern posted 16 errors in the loss.

Sandora Sasaki led Salt Lake with 12 kills, also posting 3 aces.
Laura Fiabane had 33 assists in the win, while
Hikialani Kaohelaulii contributed 25 digs.Â
