Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (October 2, 2021) - No matter the destination, no matter the location, the No. 6 Salt Lake Community College Volleyball program can't be stopped these days.

The No. 6 Bruins earned a strong 3-1 win against an in-state rival Saturday, downing No. 9 USU Eastern by a margin of 19-25, 25-14, 25-21, 25-22. With the victory, SLCC moves to 17-3 overall and 3-0 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play. Salt Lake is currently on a 14-match winning streak.

Strong offense continued to power the SLCC attack, with Laura Fiabane posting 52 assists in the win. Sandora Sasaki led the Bruins with 14 kills, while Sunny Brown posted 11 kills. Other strong performers included Jasmyne Love (12 kills) and Elena Wallace (11 kills on a .409 hitting percentage). Hikialani Kaohelaulii led Salt Lake with 24 digs.

The Bruins will host a pair of matches inside the Lifetime Activities Center next week, hosting the College of Southern Nevada on Thursday and nationally-ranked Snow College Saturday.
