TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (September 23, 2021) – A strong offensive performance lifted the No. 3 Salt Lake Community College Women's Soccer team to a Scenic West Athletic Conference road win Thursday.

The Bruins picked up a dominating 5-0 win at the College of Southern Nevada, scoring three goals in the first half to down the Lady Coyotes in the desert. SLCC is now 5-1-1 overall and 3-1 in SWAC play.

Salt Lake scored early and never looked back, posting an
Anna Pinegar goal at the 8:45 mark.
Emma Fry scored her first of two goals in the 20
th minute, while
Kallyn Chynoweth scored a goal in the 30
th minute to give the Bruins a 3-0 halftime lead.

SLCC picked up its other goals in the second half, thanks to Fry scoring in the 63
rd minute and Chynoweth posting a goal in the 69
th minute. Salt Lake held a 21-3 advantage in total shots, with
Katrina Gardner and
Taegan Frandsen combining for a pair of saves.Â

Salt Lake will travel to play at Community Christian on Saturday.
