TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (April 15, 2021) - A return to Zions Bank Stadium brought good results for the No. 2 Salt Lake Community College men's soccer team.
The Bruins picked up a dominating 12-0 win over Colorado Northwestern, taking a 7-0 lead at halftime. WIth the win, SLCC is now 4-0 overall and 3-0 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Ryen Jiba, the SWAC's reigning 'Player-of-the-Week', opening scoring in the sixth minute, with
Paul Richnow following up shortly after.

Kai Phillip and
Samson Ahisu all scored goals in the first half. Second-half goalscorers included:

Taimu Okiyoshi, Phillip,
Andres Bermudez and McRae,
SLCC held a 30-0 edge in shots, with a 21-0 advantage in shots-on-goal. Both Phillip and McRae were multi-goal scorers.
Salt Lake will host in-state rival USU Eastern on Saturday at Zions Bank Stadium.Â
