TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (April 10, 2021) – The No. 4 Salt Lake Community College men's soccer team continued its winning ways Saturday, earning a victory in a Scenic West Athletic Conference road match.

SLCC earned a 7-0 win at the College of Southern Nevada, scoring early-and-often in the victory. Salt Lake is now 3-0 on the young season, with a mark of 2-0 in Scenic West play.

The Bruins scored four goals in the first half, scoring early on a
Jonathan Castro goal. In the following minutes,
Samuel Owusu and
Ryen Jiba both contributed goals.
Levonte Johnson also scored a pair of goals in the match, with
William Greener scoring an unassisted goal in the second half.
Rafael Calderon scored in the final minutes of regulation.

SLCC held a 24-2 edge in total shots, with a 16-1 edge in shots-on-goal. Defensively,
Jose Arellano and
Ethan Coleman both contributed to the shutout at goal.Â

Salt Lake will host Colorado Northwestern on Thursday at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman.
