Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (March 13, 2021) - The Salt Lake Community College women's basketball team returned to the win column Saturday, earning a blowout home victory over the College of Southern Nevada.
The Bruins earned a 93-43 win over the Lady Coyotes, leading early and never looking back in the win. Salt Lake powered to an 11-4 overall record, with a mark of 6-4 in the Scenic West Athletic Conference.
SLCC held a narrow 18-13 lead after the first quarter but took control in the second quarter, closing the half on a 22-4 run to take a 40-17 lead. The Bruins were the model of efficiency, shooting 51.4 percent and 11-of-21 from three-point range. Salt Lake also held a 43-25 rebounding edge.
Awa Sidibe finished with 21 points, while
Aminata Diakite posted 15 points.

Leilani Augmon,
Naelle Bernard and
Riley Frith all finished with 11 points.
Salt Lake will play at Colorado Northwestern Community College next weekend.Â
